POF - I was promised a refund
I have repeatedly tried to contact someone at csr@***.com
but no one will reply to me. Please scroll to the bottom of this page to see events as they occurred. I want to make sure of what you are saying. I just logged into my old account, it is open and it offers me the chance to upgrade. Why can't I upgrade this account?
I have already paid $79.92 because I was overcharged. At the time I was overcharged I never received upgraded benefits. I called immediately (within the hour) and explained to your customer service agent what had happened. I later received an email from POF. You can either refund my money or you can upgrade me for 8 months at $79.92. I deserve to get what I paid for.
Here is a screenshot of that email:

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to email POF.com.
We see that you have closed your account. We are sorry to see you go, and you are always welcome in the future.
As stated at the time you deleted your account:
"Deleting your account is permanent, and deleted accounts cannot be reinstated. Please note that any upgrades or subscriptions cannot be transferred to a new account."
We understand that you may be frustrated that you no longer have access to POF.com's upgraded features. If you upgrade your new account for the same duration of time as your previous purchase, we will gladly credit you for the previous upgrade as a one-time courtesy.
Once you have upgraded your new account, please respond to the confirmation message from "POF_Billing" in your POF inbox with the following information:
1) Old username
2) New username
3) Please let us know that your message is in regards to refunding the upgrade to your old account.
Unfortunately, without a new purchase we are unable to offer a refund for the previous upgrade. Please let us know if you are interested in re-upgrading. We will be glad to assist you.
Thank you for your understanding.

Third Message
On December 5, 2018 I was trying to purchase a one month upgrade. I was charged $79.+. I called in immediately and was told by one of your reps that I would receive a $47.00 refund and the rest would take care of my one month upgrade. I have NEVER received my refund. I talked to my bank and they said it is up to you to make this right. Shortly after getting the one month subscription my account was downgraded to a free account. After all this trouble I would appreciate a full refund of $79.95, right away. Please help me with this. I have two emails from POF telling me that this was all taken care of, but my money seems to have fallen through the cracks somehow.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Monetary Loss: $80.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
POF Cons: Refund policy and customer service.
